Welcome to the Dietitian Success Podcast. I’m Krista, the founder of Dietitian Success Center, an online learning platform for RDs and students. So what I mean by that is people who are either following you on social media or are, have joined your email list.

If you have one. That aren’t your friends and family. Uh, you are regularly creating content, whether that’s Instagram content, email marketing, blog content, but you’re struggling with consistency. Your really unsure of where you should be focusing your time and effort when it comes to marketing in order to see the best results.

And you’re worried about starting something like blogging or podcasting and getting burnt out and not being able to stay consistent with it. You’re wondering if you even need to be on social media in order to make your business grow. Maybe you’ve started an email list, but you don’t really know what to send on a regular basis or how to sell to your email list.

And you’re really worried about sounding salesy about people getting annoyed and people unsubscribing. I am really excited to be bringing back one-on-one business support. So if you’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, you know, that I used to work with dietitians one-on-one on their businesses and this program was really focused around the starter entrepreneur. So the person that was going from. Zero to one.

They had no business and they wanted to go through the process of setting up a business, getting things started with some support. Now I stopped doing this about. A year and a half ago to focus solely on dietitian success center. And because at the time I was pregnant and I knew that once the baby came, I wanted to make sure that my schedule was completely clear.

I had no idea what life was going to look like. And so I wanted to make sure that I was really intentional about not overdoing things and not being able to deliver. On working with clients and running dietitian success center. So I decided to remove that from my product suite and really just focus on running DSC. Now now fast forward to today. And I have been, so one of the really cool things that we have as a feature within the dietitian success center business membership is we have what we call an on-demand Q and a. Where essentially we use this tool called video ask and our members can submit business questions to myself and our team and they have to be under five minutes.

So it’s really just like one business question or one situation that they want feedback on. And then we will respond with feedback, with advice, with whatever you need. Um, and one of the things I’ve been feeling lately is that I have been getting a lot of submissions where I’m left feeling like, oh man, I would love to dive deeper with you on this. I would love to sit and chat with you about this and strategize with you about this.

And I think that video ask is such a great step one. But as we know, as we continue to work on things in our business questions come up. Challenges arise issues come up and there’s things that you really want to talk about with somebody else. And it can feel really isolating to be by yourself and not have somebody to turn to. And so that is where I am right now.

And I’m at this point where I’m like, you know what? I really want to start diving deeper into individual businesses. Again. and there’s a lot of times to be honest, where, when somebody submits a video ask, I will, or even when people submit questions to. The cause we also have a community forum as well. And I often will look up the business, whether it’s on Instagram or the website, because I want to have as much context as possible when I’m responding.

Just so I’m able to give the best feedback. And a lot of times there’s like little things that I noticed that I’m like, Ooh, You know, Ooh, if you did this a little bit differently, things could probably be different in your business. Um, you know, there’s a few small tweaks that I feel like could be really, really effective. And so I, the idea of like diving deep on a business and really acting as that, like consultant, partner, Is super exciting to me.

And so that’s where we’re at right now. I am bringing back the one-on-one business consulting. Temporarily. I’m not sure, honestly, how long I’ll continue to, to, to have this as an offering. It will probably be like, it was last time where. You know, um, I’ll bring it back every once in a while to work with a few clients.

And then really again, put my head down and focus more on dietitian success center. It just sort of depends on the season of life and the time of the year. Um, but that’s where we’re at right now. I’m really excited about this one-on-one offers. So what’s included in this offer. Let’s talk about that.

Where we meet a total of six times for 45 minutes.

One-on-one via zoom. And this happens every two weeks. And then in between that you get access to me via slack. So if you’ve never used slack, it’s basically just like a messaging app, sort of like Facebook messenger, but it’s more of a business application. Don’t worry. It’s free. I will add you to our slack account.

And so you can message me and ask me questions or chat through strategy as it comes up date today. And the reason why this is so important is because sometimes things feel too meaty to talk about in an email. And it feels like a big task to like write out some. Big email. And sometimes you just want to message back and forth.

In real time, when we switched to slack as a team from email, it just changed everything in the business. We were able to communicate so much better and as things come up, ad hoc, it’s so much easier to get them addressed. So that’s what that is for. Um, is that ongoing messaging support for that three months? and then another thing.

So this is what I’m, this is a component of this offer that I’ve never offered before, but I’m super excited about it. Is a comprehensive marketing and business audit. And then from there, co-creating a strategic marketing plan for you. So what does this mean? So in terms of the audit, I will do a full assessment of your business from a perspective client perspective. And look at the customer journey to identify where the gaps and opportunities are.

So looking at, how do people find you. How do they interact with your content and with your website? And that’s an important one, right? Is that website piece, is it easy for them to find the information that they need to find? You can easily lose somebody in that process if they can’t find what they need, they’re gone. How your offer is priced and positioned.

And does that make sense? How they purchase and is that easy? Is the entire customer journey easy. And then from here, I want to then provide you with detailed feedback. And a checklist of recommendations that you can implement. Based on that assessment. And then thinking forward, I want to, co-create a strategic marketing plan for you.

So after getting to know you, after getting to know your, your business and your future vision, I want to work together on coming up with a marketing plan that you can continue to use month to month to meet your business goals. Depending on your desires and what would make the most sense? Strategically, this might look like things. Um, or this could include things like, you know, reviewing your Instagram content and figuring out what has actually worked and planning more of this based on your niche and your messaging that resonates with your ideal client. Thinking about how do we incorporate more sales and marketing messaging into that content? This could include blogging.

So planning topics for the next six months of blog posts, I can do the in-depth keyword research because I pay for keyword programs that you may not have access to, and actually look at what are the keywords that are going to help you get found help you get ranked in Google search and start bringing organic search traffic to your website.

I’ve said before organic search traffic is one of the. Highest ways that people find dietitian success center and we pay $0 for it, which is really cool. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving you create one blog post, and it just keeps working for you for years and years to come. This could be doing an SEO audit to identify areas where keywords can be integrated into your website to help you gain more local traction and start gaining more of a local audience. This could include email marketing.

It’s probably going to include email marketing.

To help you construct sales and marketing. emails. So you can actually leverage your email list to bring in more clients and so much more, so much more. And so we’re going to work on that strategy together and give you a rinse and repeat plan that you can continue to use for months to come and years to come.
