Today, I am taking a little break from regular programming to tell you about my very first Ironman, which I completed on September 26th. And Ironman race is a triathlon that includes a 2.4 mile swim (3.9K), 112 mile bike (180.2K), and 26.2 mile run (42.2K).
I wanted to walk you through my experience, including:
- What the training looked like (# of hours and hardest parts)
- What the race day looked like (including fuelling, high points and low points)
- Lessons learned and moments I will remember forever
