In this episode, I sit down with the amazing Kim Rose Dietitian – Registered Dietitian and Dietitian Educator.

Kim has an active YouTube channel (with over 9000 subscribers) where she shares videos providing nutrition and clinical solutions for common dietitian and intern questions. She also operates a private practice where she works with clients 1:1 to become more educated and aware of how to navigate their health issues.

In addition, Kim is the creator of a podcast “Nutrition Lifestyles with Kim & Johane”, which is designed to educate and excite conversations in women’s health, food, nutrition and wellness.  With that, her and her co-host talk about a number of deep social justice issues as they relate to food and healthcare.

In this episode, Kim and I talk about:
➡️ Why code switching is something every dietitian needs to be familiar with
➡️ How to continue building your cultural competence
➡️ The essential role that diversity, equity and inclusion plays in the future of our healthcare system
➡️ How to be unapologetically you and say GIRL, BYE to imposter syndrome
